Making progress!  Walking more and eating normal food now.  Fever free for more than 24 hours.  Starting to wean off of intravenous pain meds to oral meds.  Dr. will start chemotherapy on Wednesday or Thursday and hopeful for discharge within a day or two after.

All of your supportive comments are sooo appreciated and encouraging.

PS: I was playing cards with Katie the other day, and I was thinking of all the time we spent playing cards Freshman year, those are such great memories....

Hopefully tomorrow will be the second big blow to the enemy. We are right there beside you as you advance and make the chemo attack. Love you sweet girl and love the picture. Everyday is a day closer to home, know you will be glad for that day. ooxx Aunt Eleanor, Uncle Sonny and the midwest gang.

You may not know that we now have a little Maltese and I absolutely love him. Never realized what comfort your dog could be until now. Every time I have been snuggling with Pupper I was wishing you could see your dog because I know how much you love him. Oh happy day!
